The month of September has passed by so quickly, but it has not gone by without a little celebrating! September is a festive month, from celebrating Flag Day, Children’s Day, Teacher’s Day, and even Honduran Independence Day! Children’s Day and Teacher’s Day are two days that are very special to us here at Jubilee, as our children and teachers are the backbone to our school!
We celebrated Children’s Day on September 10. The students poured into the school, as they came dressed up as super heroes and princesses. This day was devoted to all the students and allowed us to encourage and celebrate each one of them as special and dearly loved children. They are definitely all worth celebrating!
We celebrated with piñatas and a special meal in each class!

Our teachers were the next to be celebrated on September 17. We are so grateful for the love, dedication, and hard work of our teachers who are making a powerful impact in the lives of our students and their families! We thank God for who they are and all they do!
Our teachers were able to enjoy a lunch, along with fellowship, gifts, and a few fun games! Thank you to our teachers for all you do!!
