Mr. Harvy graduated in 2018 as a telecommunications engineer. Like many young graduates, he dreamed of building a stable career. But reality was different—complicated financial struggles left him without work. Then came the pandemic, which only magnified his challenges. “All the economic problems seemed to fall on me at once,” he recalls.

Four years passed without stable employment. It was a season of testing, one that pushed him to depend on God in ways he never imagined.
At that time, Mr. Harvy was married to Miss Cindy, our school counselor. While she began working at Jubilee, he temporarily taught math at the school where she had previously been employed. Teaching, however, was never part of his original plan.

Then, unexpectedly, an opportunity appeared at Jubilee. He never imagined that coming to an interview would lead to an experience that would completely change his life. In his own words: “I asked God for a job where the main purpose would be to serve Him. After four years of waiting, He gave me something stable. What God was preparing for my life was the complete opposite of what I was pursuing. After three years here at Jubilee, I can say this is the best place I could be.”
Looking back, Mr. Harvy sees God’s hand clearly. The verse became real to him: “I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” In every step, God proved His faithfulness.
More than just a math teacher, Mr. Harvy has become a mentor, counselor, and spiritual guide to many of our students.

Samuel, one of his students, shared: “For me, Mr. Harvy is someone who inspires me. He is an example to follow. He has been a great support in my life, and I love him very much.”

Liam, a 7th grader, added: “Mr. Harvy is like a friend to me. It’s as if he were my father. He has helped me a lot spiritually. He has guided me, taught me, and even helped me learn how to read the Bible.”
Mr. Harvy’s greatest dream is to see young people restored and filled with the presence of the Lord—a generation that boldly proclaims the name of Christ and truly worships Him. He humbly says: “My heart is thankful for the advice and patience the pastors and the principal have had with me. My desire is to remain on the right path until the Lord returns.”
His story reminds us that God’s plans often look very different from our own. What seemed like years of delay were actually years of preparation. Serving with love and faithfulness is never in vain—and when we place our trust in the Lord, He can transform our lives in ways beyond our imagination.
