I caught up with Josh, who is 10 years old and in fifth grade with teacher Ms. Laura. This is his first year attending Jubilee. He too spoke with great confidence. As we sat in the school library, he shared his love for informational texts and history. “I also love to study the Bible and draw the stories as I imagine them,” he added. “I am also learning to play the bass guitar.” I asked how his first year at Jubilee was going. He quickly responded, “I am very happy at Jubilee, because I am a Christian and I love going to a Christian school.” Then he smiled as he shared this testimony: “I’ve known the Lord all of my life. From the time I was in my mother’s womb, she took me to church. I remember that Jesus was real to me when I was five years old. I went to an event at church and felt that the Lord was talking to me. At night, I prayed to Him and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I give my testimony in a small group in my home as well as at school.” I was so moved by Josh’s testimony and faith.
