Jubilee Centers International, a non-profit organization operating a Christian school in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator position that will work in West Michigan to energetically support our education and church ministry.
This full-time position requires a weekly minimum hourly commitment of 32 hours. However, depending on recurring organizational demands (i.e., board meetings,fundraising events, mailings), the hours may increase during busy seasons.
The successful applicant will be committed to this Christian ministry which seeks to empower the students and families of Tegucigalpa to improve their lives and to demonstrate their faith in their Lord Jesus Christ.

Qualifications:
● Creative thinker, self-motivated, person of integrity.
● Demonstrated ability to lead, take initiative, plan, and execute projects, and
build relationships.
● Embraces and commits to furthering JCI’s vision and mission: seeing people
transformed by the love of Christ through holistic community development, including
Christian education.
● A mature personal Christian faith that is lived out in your life, work, and interactions in
agreement with the Jubilee Centers International Statement of Faith
● A people-person who enjoys initiating and maintaining contact with Jubilee’s community
of supporters.
● Draws satisfaction from communication and relationship building.
● Skilled at fostering relationships and growing the organization’s network.
● Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Able to collaborate and maintain professional working relationships with JCI’s
directors, staff, and board members.
● Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
● At least one year of experience in a related field, but 3 years of experience or
more preferred.
● Spanish speaking ability and experience with Latin American culture preferred, but
not required.
